How Endplay handles your data.
You do not need to sign up. Endplay collects only the minimum needed to understand how it is used and improve the game - anonymous play data, and nothing that identifies you. It is never sold or shared. There are no tracking cookies, no ads, and no cross-site tracking.
Anonymous play data: which daily puzzle, pack level or tutorial lesson you played, whether you solved it, how many wrong turns, undos, hints and restarts it took, and how long you were actively engaged. This is sent to Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, so we can see whether the game is being played, whether people come back, and where a puzzle is too hard or too easy.
It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device to identify you, and it honors your browser’s Do-Not-Track setting. There is no name, no sign-up, and no advertising identifier, so it cannot be tied back to you or followed from one day to the next - the service groups visits only within a single day, and cannot link them across days. It is never sold or shared, and it is used only to improve Endplay.
Two things are worked out on your device and only ever leave as a rounded, grouped figure that could describe many people - never a number that points to you: roughly how many days you have played, and whether a puzzle took you more or less effort than your own usual. The detail those are based on stays on your device and is never sent.
It is on by default, and you can turn it off whenever you like: open More, and under Privacy set Anonymous usage data to Off. From then on Endplay sends nothing at all - the analytics never even loads - and your play stays entirely in this browser. The choice is remembered on this device, and you can turn it back on the same way.
Your progress - the chips you have played, which puzzles you have solved, your times, and your light/dark preference - is kept in your browser’s local storage so you can put a puzzle down and come back to it. That part never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data for this site erases it, and the game simply starts fresh.
No email address, no name, no sign-up, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site or cross-app tracking, and no ad network - not now and not later. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to ask you about.
